Sarasota Opera House
In Sarasota FL, the opera house is one of many sujects to be painted. It was built in 1926 by the first mayor of the town. Many wonderful musical events take place here. We painted this because the artist's daughter spent two years here as an artist in residence.
In Key West FL the Southernmost House is just one of many subjects to be remembered. Sloppy Joe's Bar, Hemingway House, Truman's Southern White House and many more places have been painted by artists. We'll be glad to reproduce your favorite memory from Key West in watercolor and/or acrylics.
Located in Cortez FL, Star Fish Co. was started in the early 1920's by Judge Millis. In the 1950's Gaylord Garner purchased the business and passed it along to his son, Allen, in the late 1980's.
Star Fish began as a wholesale fish operation and added a retail market in the 1960's. The business took off and remains very popular today among locals and visitors as the best place around for grouper and gulf shrimp. In the 1990's a restaurant was added.
Located on the north end of Anna Marie Island, the Sandbar has been a favorite place for decades. It is a great spot to spend a day at the beach, enjoy some fresh Florida seafood for lunch and take in a dramatic sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. It was renovated and rebuilt in 2012 and 2013. A popular subject for artists.

Florida is loaded with subject matter and loaded with snow birds in the winter months. Remember your good times here with a watercolor/acrylic painting of your favorite Florida memory.
